Gunners 4 Life

http://thinkersroom.blogspot.com [tHiNkEr's rOoM] Much as Manchester United played better, the Carling Cup game between Liverpool and Chelsea is another illustration that winning a game and winning a match are not always the same thing. Jens Lehmann quite literally saved the team, during the 120 odd minutes of the game AND the penalties.

Some related posts from Technorati and Google.

http://voxday.blogspot.com [Voxday.blogspot.com] Vox Popoli: Let's go, Gunners: Unlike the thugs of Manchester United - fans, players and manager alike - Arsenal plays like a team, with beautiful, selfless passing that is effective as it is attractive to watch. While the European soccer leagues have a tremendous amount to learn from the NFL in terms of how to run a league profitably with maximum competitiveness, there's a lot of US athletes who would do well to learn from Henry's example that in a team sport, you cannot have true success without putting the team first.

http://www.londonblog.com [Londonblog.com] Arsenal Football Club Articles - London Blog: What with Jose Reyes doing nothing on the pitch and whining every chance he gets about wanting a move back to Spain and Patrick Vieira playing the whole season like he's still pining after Real Madrid, I think Arsenal need to crack down on this team and say you either get focussed on the job or ship out this summer and we'll get someone in who's committed to the club.

Arseblog.comhttp://www.arseblog.com [Arseblog.com] Arseblog -"It's fuckin' excellent"...an Arsenal blog.: We've done the learning curve thing - this is our 5th consecutive Champions League campaign (I think), and while previous eliminations could be attributed to a certain naivity in terms of European football, the same can't be said now. It's time to deliver, and with 4 points needed from the final two games - home to Roma and away to Valencia - the Arsenal players are not making it easy for themselves.

Soccerpulse.comhttp://www.soccerpulse.com [Soccerpulse.com] SoccerPulse Community -> Matty's Blog: Extremely quick and technically adroit, the Gunners' lethal weapon complements his instinct for goal with a feeling for the killer pass, all of which make him the archetypal modern striker.

http://blogs.blogosphere.ca [Blogs.blogosphere.ca] Sports Guru: It was obvious from today that City don't have a replacement for Nicolas Anelka who moved on to Turkish team Fenerbahce during the January transfer window. I must note that although United had much of the play during the game it wasn't until Cristiano Ronaldo came on for John O'Shea and Ryan Giggs came on for Darren Fletcher did they have the drive forward that won them the game.
