Lehmann named Germany No1

http://www.uefa.com/competitions/worldcup [uefa.com - FIFA World Cup] Reports in Germany suggested that Klinsmann had informed Kahn of the decision this morning, and although the German Football Association initially refused to comment, a statement from Klinsmann this afternoon said: "This has been the most difficult decision of my reign. Of course Oliver is disappointed but he proved himself a true sportsman." Kahn, who like Lehmann is 36, helped Germany reach the final of the last World Cup in Korea/Japan, where he was named the player of the tournament.
