West Ham going to Europe
[Jees soccer blog, soccer chat and soccer talk] Its fairy tale in making, last season the Hammers were playing in lower division, got promoted at played well in Premiership, and next season they are going to Europe. All this happens after they defeated Middlesbrough 1-0 in the English FA Cup semi-final, and will be playing Liverpool in the FA Cup final.
Some related posts from Technorati and Google.
[du Nord] Flippity Floppity News: I struggled to sit through the last 20 minutes of that game and I only watched it through to the end to see what other blunders the Jamaican keeper might make and if someone might actually break the deadlock. I rarely walk away from a US match feeling angry and let down (not since '98 at least) but I felt that way after last nights game.
[Soccer.jeelife.com] Jees soccer blog, soccer chat and soccer talk: With 5 matches left, Manchester United are currently 7 points behind Premiership leader Chelsea. But the win against Arsenal at least gave United some slim hope of catching up.
[Blogfc.com] blogfc.com - the football blog: Allardyce, Hughes and Moyes are three acolytes who have directly benefited from Ferguson’s mantra that “Arsenal don’t like it up ‘em”. Throw into this the stoic and functional champions, Chelsea, and the dour long-ball merchants of Liverpool, and I believe we’re about to witness the end of a golden era of English football.
